If you are going to study or are studying at Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) and accompanied by your babies and children, DON'T WORRY! UUM provides you with day care, pre-school, and after-school care located near the main entrance at the staff housing complex.
In Bahasa Malaysia, Day Nursery, Pre-School, and After-School Care are called "Tadika" (Taman Didik Kanak-Kanak) and in Bahasa Indonesia "TK" (Taman Kanak-Kanak).
Tadika of Universiti Utara Malaysia is called Pusat Perkembangan Kanak-kanak Tunku Puteri Intan Safinaz. It has a wide range of services:
(A) Day nursery (7.30 am - 5.30 pm) catering babies under one year old; between 1 - 4 year s; and between 4 - 6 years;
(B) Half-Day care (7.30 am - 5.30 pm) for children aged 5 - 6 years;
